Lightnet a leading broadband & VoIP provider is recruiting for a Sales and Customer Service Administrator.

The role is largely sales based with customer service and administration responsibilities. This role will suit a self-motivated individual with a friendly personality with excellent communication and organization skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales call handling.
  • Process inbound and outbound calls, emails and administration duties.
  • Promoting Lightnet’s products and services in a professional manner.
  • Providing high levels of customer service.
  • Lead generation and relationship management.
  • Marketing and promotional duties.
  • Scheduling of installers appointments.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Minimum 2 years in Customer Service/Sales experience in a similar sector.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills capable of performing with energy and drive.
  • Motivated and ambitious self-starter and capable of working on own initiative.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with the accuracy & attention to detail.
  • Strong Decision-making skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in the work environment.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT 

The role involves answering customer technical queries, troubleshooting and solving issues remotely, along with some network monitoring.

Excellence in customer service skills is a must. A background in IT support is also required. Ideally suit a self-motivated person who is willing to take ownership of customer issues and  be eager to take initiative and work as part of a team.

The role requires competence researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve any issues. Ability to follow standard procedures and good decision-making is a must to maximize customer satisfaction.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deal with customer’s technical queries by phone and email, ensuring a prompt and efficient response at all times.
  • Troubleshoot connections and identity any faults to determine correct course of action.
  • Track and take ownership of all outstanding queries to ensure follow through in all cases.
  • Configuration of routers and equipment.
  • Network monitoring to identify faults and first level resolution of network issues.
  • Provide guidance to customers on upgrade options.
  • Work proficiently with minimal daily guidance.
  • Any additional tasks as the role evolves.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

·         Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Background in IT Helpdesk or support environment advantageous.

 

·         Competent computer skills and technical knowledge.

 

·         IT/Networking, A+ or MCP would be an advantage.

 

·         Good phone manner and customer service skills.

 

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritise appropriately.

 

.         Willing to work shift hours and weekends.
