Fibre broadband installation in Ireland is carried out through the national fibre wholesalers, National Broadband Ireland (NBI) and OpenEir. Once you place your order with Lightnet, we organise the request with the relevant network provider, who then arranges for an authorised installer, either KN/Circet, to complete the fibre connection at your property. Because fibre installation depends on the network infrastructure, access route and property setup, some installs may require more than one visit.

Check your coverage with Lightnet to check fibre availability. We will then call you and you can place your order if Fibre is available at your location.

We Arrange Your Appointment With Provider
We request your installation appointment through the relevant fibre network provider, either NBI or OpenEir.

Fibre Installation By Authorised Installer
An authorised KN/Circet installer brings the fibre cable into your property, either underground or overhead depending on your specific setup.

Broadband Activated
With Lightnet
Once the fibre line is ready, your broadband service can be activated and your router connected.
